Kuppibunda Kitchen Page

VTQ supports young people to gain authentic work experience and training opportunities through a unique collaboration between Kuppibunda Kitchen and Three Little Birds. Kuppibunda Kitchen is a catering business that showcases Indigenous ingredients and connects people to the amazing knowledge of the world’s oldest living culture.

The word kuppibunda comes from the Yuggera language and means Lomandra. Lomandra, also known a Spiny-headed Mat-rush or Basket grass, is important to many Aboriginal peoples, as it provides food, has hydrating qualities and can be woven into useful items such as baskets, dilly bags and fish traps.

Kuppibunda Kitchen has a range of delicious and creative menus, featuring Indigenous ingredients, suitable for all occasions and dietary requirements. Our menus range from morning tea platters to fine dining canapes. Flexible catering packages can be designed to accommodate your needs and dietary requirements.
