Nationally Accredited Courses

Vocational Training Queensland provides accredited training in the Certificates in General Education for Adults (CGEA) designed to improve the literacy, numeracy and general education skills of adolescents and adults. Completion of a CGEA course supports young people to access further study, gain employment or increase positive participation in the community.

Accredited training means that our training programs:

  • have been aligned to accredited units of competency from a nationally endorsed Accredited Course or Training Package
  • involve a formal assessment of skills and knowledge to determine competency
  • entitle the student to receive an endorsed Certificate or Statement of Attainment with the nationally recognised training logo and the units of competency achieved.

Completion of the certificates allows students to earn points towards the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE).
